I am a cross-disciplinary researcher working at the intersection of One Health, climate change, and infectious disease. My academic background spans animal and environmental sciences to public health, shaping a research path focused on understanding complex health challenges. My current work applies One Health frameworks and machine learning to identify the key drivers of climate‑sensitive disease transmission, especially looking into how the climate, environment, and biodiversity affect the disease transmission risks.

I actively build international collaborations and contribute new research directions to my department. My expertise has been recognized by colleagues in Europe and the Global South, leading to projects on tick‑borne, vector‑borne, and foodborne diseases.

I am also leading international conferences on climate change and human health (ENBEL2023, ENBEL2025), working to advance climate change and health research on the global agenda. https://enbel2025.ee/en/enbel/
