I am Guest Lecturer at Umeå School of Architecture, Umeå University, since 2020. Currently, I am part of the teaching cadre of Radical Domesticities, a design studio at the Master’s programme.
I studied architecture in Vienna and Valencia, where I got my Master’s degree in 2011. In 2022, I got my PhD in Advanced Architectural Design at Madrid ETSAM. Before joining the faculty at UMA, I was visiting PhD at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, I taught in the Master in Advanced Architectural Design at Madrid ETSAM, and, from 2015 to 2017, I was Wortham Fellow at the Rice University School of Architecture in Houston.
My research work addresses the links between web media and architectural design, and has been published in journals such as Bracket, PLOT, or the Journal of Architectural Education.
I also run a small practice called rellam with two colleagues. Our work has exhibited twice at the Venice Architecture Biennale, has been selected in several editions of the FAD awards, was awarded the Bauwelt Preis in 2019, and can be checked at rellam.org.
