PhD Candidate in Museology with focus on Gender
My research focuses on constructions of the female body in modern Europe, at the intersections of science, visual culture, gender, and eugenics. In my thesis, I examine practices of exposure, classification, and musealization in relation to marginalized and underprivileged bodies, with particular attention to female representatives of minority groups in Sweden.
