Private sector 2002–2015. Tech Lead for DIP, solution lead for Predict IT, and technical leadership in Research Data, the Consent App, and SPRINTR. CM for ITS local initiatives.
I am a software developer and IT architect with a professional background in the private sector from 2002 to 2015. Since 2018, I have held several technical leadership roles within research-related IT, software development, and system management.
Between 2018 and 2025, I was Tech Lead for DIP, responsible for the development and maintenance of the solution. Within Predict, we developed a complete analysis platform during 2021–2022 in close collaboration with the participating researchers. Predict remains a highly active project, while my current involvement is more occasional, focusing primarily on system maintenance and regulatory support.
From 2021 to 2025, I provided technical leadership within the Research Data project. Among other things, I developed a metadata registry for research data archiving and the Consent App, supporting the digital management of research participants’ consent.
Today, I am part of SPRINTR’s project management group and operational team, where I work as a software developer and IT architect. My responsibilities include technical architecture, central data management, integrations, and the development of secure and scalable IT infrastructure for research data. See https://sprintr.org/.
Since 2026, I have also held a CM role for ITS local initiatives. The role focuses on modernising the ITS CI/CD environment, sharing knowledge on security-related matters, and developing common ways of working across team boundaries. The role also includes evaluating and preparing procurements of business-support tools, a process that often involves more organizational and legal considerations than technical ones.
Overall, I combine hands-on software development with technical leadership, solution architecture, and system management. My strength lies in bringing structure to technically complex environments and translating operational and research needs into sustainable, secure, and maintainable IT solutions.
