Deputy Vice-Chancellor for education on the first and second cycle level.

I am Deputy Vice-Chancellor of research and postgraduate education within the social sciences and humanities at Umeå University. I am also professor of social and economic geography.

I am vice-chancellor of Umeå University since 1 July 2016. As the chief executive of the University, I lead the ongoing work and represent the University both internally and externally.

I am Pro-Vice-Chancellor and responsible for research and doctoral education in medicine, natural sciences and technology, and third-stream activities and internationalisation.

I hold the position as deputy university director and budget director at Umeå University. I am also head of the Planning Office.
