I work with the development of laser-based measurement technqies for sensitive detection of atoms and molecules in gas phase, primarily analytical laser spectroscopy and refractometry.
In my research group, we work with the development of laser-based detection techniques for ultra-sensitive detection of atoms and molecules in gas phase. We work primarily within the field of analytical laser spectroscopy where we, based on spectroscopy, develop detection techniques that can detect extremely low concentrations (ppb, ppm, ppt, and ppq concentrations) of molecules, and within the field of refractometry, where we develop purely optical techniques for assessment of refractometry (refractive index) of gases, which, in turn, is used to assess gas density and pressure with unprecedented precision.
