Introducing the concept of "Digitized Inattention", I study how smartphone interfaces reconfigure the emotional and spatial order of everyday public life, focusing on idleness, visibility and the affective labor of existing among strangers.
I have a masters degree in Applied Social Research from Stockholm University and bachelors degree in Sociology (Honors-Research) from Shiv Nadar University, India.
My research interests include: Digital Identity & Culture, Sociology of emotions in digital and urban contexts, alorithmic mediation of everyday life, symbolic interactionism and civic engagement/social interactions.
