I am a Staff Scientist with a research background in cancer immunology and immunotherapy. My work focuses on understanding how cancers evade immune detection and on developing new strategies to mobilize the immune system against tumors.
Using ex vivo models based on human immune cells, I investigate interactions between cancer and the immune system and evaluate novel therapeutic approaches. My current research centers on lipid nanoparticle (LNP)-based mRNA vaccines and personalized cancer immunotherapies, with the goal of translating fundamental discoveries into improved treatments for patients.
