Vigneshwar Senthivel

I am Vigneshwar Senthivel and postdoc in Anne Tuiskunen Bäck lab. I am a biomedical researcher with experience spanning clinical genetics, population genomics and functional validations using a variety of model organisms. I have completed my PhD at CSIR- Institute of Genomics and Integrative Biology, New Delhi, where I worked on identifying causal variants in cardiac channelopathy patients. It also involved developing cost effective sequencing assays.

My research interests focus on the genetics of cardiac diseases, and translating genomic findings/insights into clinically actionable outcomes.
