I am a PhD student in Ulrika Westerlind’s research group. I work on the synthesis and biological exploration of glycopeptides.
I found my interest in organic chemistry when I studied pharmacy at China Pharmaceutical University. Then I completed my three-year master's program in medicinal chemistry in China State Institute of Pharmaceutical Industry. My master's thesis is focused on designing and synthesizing brain-penetrant histone deacetylase 6 inhibitors. After graduation, I worked in the industry on organic process research and development.
In 2022, I joined Ulrika Westerlind lab as a PhD student and started my exciting and challenging work on the synthesis and biological exploration of glycopeptides.
