Once you've returned from your stay abroad, there are some practical things you have to arrange and some things to think about.
Apply to transfer your credits
When you have completed your studies at a foreign university, you can get them accredited at Umeå University. If your studies abroad are transferred you do not have to take the equivalent courses at Umeå University.
In order for your studies abroad will to be entered into Ladok, you must have applied for and received a decision regarding accreditation.
Do you want to have further contact with international students? Join the Buddy programme! As a buddy you'll be in a buddy group consisting of 8–10 established students and 20–25 new international students. Together you arrange various social activities.
