Campus: The University has four campuses, Handen Campus is the main campus, situated a 20 minutes' drive from central Shanghai.
Student life: Student clubs play an important role in the campus culture. There are over 300 student clubs encompassing interests such as media, dance, music, politics, theatre, chess, card games, outdoor activities and sports.

Fudan University was ranked no. 44 by the QS World University Rankings 2019.

Shanghai is one of the four municipalities under the direct administration of the central government of China. With its 24 million citizens, it is one of the most populous cities in the world. People's Square, located in the heart of downtown Shanghai, hosts several parks and museums. The subway station under the square is one of the largest in the world.

Students who would like to apply for graduate courses/programmes will need to present an undergraduate diploma.  

Note: Mandatory insurance must be purchased by students who are accepted for an exchange. This costs approximately 400 CNY per semester.

Exchange students can apply for housing online, however, there is no guarantee that there is any housing available. If university-administered accommodation is not available, the Student Mobility Section will do its best to help exchange students find accommodation.

Student grants and loans for studies outside of Sweden

You may be entitled to student grants and loans from CSN when studying abroad.

As the cost of living and accommodation may be higher abroad, you can apply for an extra loan known as an additional loan for studies abroad.

You can also apply for an additional loan to cover additional costs, i.e. travel and insurance costs.
