Campus: The campus is located in the center of Seoul.
Student life: The university has 50 student clubs with focus on music, photography, sports and charity work. International students are offered to study Korean in the evenings and to participate in culture events.

About Seoul

Seoul is the campital of South Korea and has over 10 million citizens, 25 million in the metropolitan area. Seoul is situated by the Han River and is surrounded by mountains. It is the world's fifth most expensive cities to live in and the second most expensive in Asia. Seoul is an important financial centre in Asia and some of the world's largest companies have their headquarters here. The city has distinguished itself as a shopping-city, the Dongdaemun market is the largest market in Korea and Yongsans Electronic Market is the largest of its kind in Asia.

Accepted students will be sent a course list at the beginning of February for the Spring semester and the beginning of August for the Fall semester. In principle, students are allowed to take any courses from the list regardless of their major.

Full time studies (corresponding to 30 hp):
Undergraduate level: 15 credits

Course types: Usually 2 or 3 credits per course

Course levels: Undergraduate and graduate level courses available. Undergraduate students are not allowed to take graduate courses. Graduate students are allowed to take both undergraduate and graduate courses, and need to get permission from professor in advance to take graduate courses.

Academic year:
Second term: September–December
First term: March-June

Accommodation

All exchange students are recommended to stay in on-campus dormitory (double room with bathroom).

Student grants and loans for studies outside of Sweden

You may be entitled to student grants and loans from CSN when studying abroad.

As the cost of living and accommodation may be higher abroad, you can apply for an extra loan known as an additional loan for studies abroad.

You can also apply for an additional loan to cover additional costs, i.e. travel and insurance costs.
