Arca

Hot Team (BFA2/BFA3) 2025

Arca supports decision-making in precommercial forest thinning by using an AR visor integrated into a helmet to visually highlight trees and boundaries. Instant visual feedback helps workers decide which trees to preserve or remove. A 180-degree camera on the helmet analyses the forest and transfers data to the visor, while recorded video provides highly accurate information for future thinning and forestry planning. A companion app aids pre-planning by consolidating data on different forest stands and connecting seamlessly with the helmet, making all relevant information accessible through the visor.
