The Academic Resource Centre opened its door at Umeå University for nearly 20 years, yet many still don’t know about us. The ARC has come a long way and developed considerably during the past two decades. We work with students (both in Swedish and English) from the undergraduate to the PhD level in all of the faculties regarding: academic writing, study skills, presenting, information searching, and referencing. Another equally important area of work for us is collaborating with teachers in courses and working towards embedded teaching. So come acquaint or reacquaint yourselves with us and the work we do.
