Jag är biträdande professor vid institutionen för datavetenskap. Mina forskningsintressen omfattar olika ämnen inom människa-datorinteraktion inom hälso- och sjukvård och utbildning, såsom co-design för hälso- och sjukvård, iterativ design av autismterapi, adaptiv teknikförstärkt fysioterapi, spelifierad terapeutisk teknik för barn med neurologiska utvecklingsstörningar och inkluderande aktivitetsdesign för specialundervisning.

Tidigare var jag universitetslektor vid institutionen för biomedicinsk teknik och hälsosystem och Digital Futures postdoc-stipendiat vid avdelningen för robotik, perception och lärande på KTH med projektet Designing Gamified Robot-Enhanced Interventions for Children with Neurodevelopmental Difficulties. Jag tog min doktorsexamen i robotik på ”Designing Gamified Activities with Haptic-Enabled Tangible Robots for Therapy and Assistance” från EPFL, 2021. I min tidigare forskning hade jag chansen att designa för terapi för flera patientgrupper som genomgick kognitiv eller fysisk rehabilitering från 3 till 77 år. Neurodevelopmental disorder (NDD) är ett paraplybegrepp som definierar en grupp tillstånd som beror på nedsatt funktion i hjärnan och/eller det neuromuskulära systemet, inklusive ADHD (attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder), ASD (autismspektrumstörning), CP (cerebral pares), DCD (development coordination disorder), etc.
