How to donate

The most common way to give is through a donation. However, there are several ways to support Umeå University. You may choose to donate during your lifetime, leave a gift in your will, or establish a foundation to support larger initiatives. Whatever form your gift takes, it helps us create knowledge and drive progress, not only in northern Sweden but around the world.

Three ways to make a difference

Donation

Honour a friend, family member or colleague with a monetary gift that strengthens research and education.

Will

Leave a lasting gift of property, assets or funds to Umeå University through your will.

Foundation

For donations exceeding SEK 5 million, we can help establish a foundation to manage your gift.
