My name is Johan Sandberg, and I am the course coordinator and one of the teachers you will meet throughout the course. We plan to give the course on-campus with physical meetings. However, given the uncertainty related to the pandemic, there is a risk that we will have to adapt if the situation during the fall does not develop positively. If this would occur, we will update the schedule with a link to an online alternative.
The course introduction will occur at 10:15-12, November 2nd, in room MC413 in the MIT-building. The course involves different learning activities such as lectures, workshops, labs, and “live” cases involving interactions with partner organizations. Active participation in these activities is essential for your learning progress and meeting the expected learning outcomes. Throughout the course, we will use the learning platform Canvas to interact and distribute information.
I am looking forward to meeting you!Close

Information due to COVID-19
Thank you for choosing Umeå University! We really look forward to seeing you. Until October, most of the teaching at the university will take place online. But the library group study rooms and study spaces are open from the start of the semester. Please remember to keep your distance when using these spaces.
The exact plan for the rest of the autumn semester has not yet been decided. At some point this autumn, we will likely all be able to meet on campus again, but the way back needs to be gradual. The university is planning on reaching a new decision about the autumn semester in mid-August. Unfortunately, we can’t give you any clear information about how your specific education will be affected quite yet. But stay updated through the Student web.Close
