About the course
In the course students are introduced to life cycle thinking in all its phases as an approach to influence the impact of the built environment. Students gain a deeper understanding of the role and responsibility of architects in relation to other fields.
Students explore how circular thinking applies to architectural design and the built environment through evolving design methodologies and material practices as a focus of the course. It includes concepts such as reuse, retrofitting, designing for disassembly.
