What are some dangerous limitations with the hegemonic political and organizational responses to the climate emergency? And why should we care?
In this webinar, two renowned scholars share their perspectives on the inter-related topics of climate change adaptation and carbon politics. Daniel Nyberg, Professor of Sustainability at the University of Queensland, analyses political processes surrounding the coral bleaching of the Great Barrier Reef. Steffen Böhm, Professor in Organisation & Sustainability at University of Exeter Business School, presents critical insights on the green claims found in the global carbon markets.
The webinar is part of the PhD course “Critical Perspectives on Green Transitions and Organizing Alternatives” organized by Hanken School of Economics and Umeå School of Business, Economics and Statistics and with support from the Nordic Academy of Management (NFF) and Umeå Transformation Research Initiative (UTRI).
The webinar is in English. It will be recorded. You can find the previous recordings on this channel.
