Time Tuesday 23 May, 2023 at 14:00 - 15:30
Place Humlab/Zoom

ChatGPT, as well as other generative AI systems, pose new challenges for Higher Education, including, and perhaps especially, in the Humanities and Social Sciences. What risks do they represent for education? And can they perhaps open up new opportunities for lecturers and students?

This fishbowl panel will discuss these and related questions from the perspective of a variety of fields within the Humanities and Social Sciences, represented by our panelists:

Katharina Båth (Culture and Media Studies)

Eva Mårell-Olsson (Education/TAIGA)

Jonathan Wedman (Applied Educational Sciences)

Karin Danielsson (Informatics/Humlab)

Kalle Grill (Philosophy)

The event, co-hosted by the Centre for Transdisciplinary AI (TAIGA) and Humlab, will be introduced and moderated by Dimitri Coelho Mollo (Philosophy/TAIGA).

Participation is possible in person and online.
