Abstract: I will discuss a specific class of global PDEs that are the counterpart to real and complex Monge-Ampere equations. These equations are motivated by the conjecture of Alesker and Verbistsky on the solvability of the equation that they have introduced on hyperKahler with torsion manifolds. The problem can be viewed as a quaternionic version of the Calabi conjecture.
