5.4 million SEK to environmental archaeological database in Umeå

Riksbankens Jubileumsfond (The National Bank of Sweden's research fund), has granted 5.421 million SEK to the further development of the environmental archaeological database (SEAD) at Umeå University for interdisciplinary studies of global challenges with new research and user groups.
SEAD is a national research infrastructure of Archaeology and a database of international standard for environmental archaeological data.
It is developed and managed by the Environmental Archaeology Lab (MAL) in collaboration with HUMlab, both units at The Faculty of Arts, Umeå University.
