NEWS Umeå University welcomes all doctoral students to attend Career Day on Tuesday the 21st of April. The event is a collaboration with the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) and will be held in the MIT building on campus.
All PhD students at Umeå University and SLU are invited to attend Career Day. There will be parallel sessions with lecturers from all faculties here in Umeå and workshops on such subjects as how to write research applications. Since the university has a diverse body of students with different backgrounds and visions, a wide variety of speakers as possible will be presented.
Career Day begins at 8:15 am and concludes with an afterwork gathering including a buffet, so you should register for the enitre day. The aim is that all doctoral students take the opportunity to attend this special event, whether they have just started or will be finishing their degree in the near future.
