NEWS Alec Aalto, Finland’s Ambassador to Sweden, visited Umeå University on Friday 23 January. He visit included a presentation from the Department of Culture and Media Studies.
Pro-Vice-Chancellor Åsa Bergenheim held a welcoming presentation about Umeå University for the ambassador, and he was given a tour of the University Library and visited the Department of Culture and Media Studies.
Alec Aalto received information about the operations at the Faculty of Arts, in addition to meeting representatives from Finnish and Nordic languages at the Department of Language Studies.
