NEWS Are you a researcher in the early stage of your career? Are you aiming to establish your own research group or network? If so, you can apply for Step 1 of ReaL, the university’s leadership development programme.
The ReaL programme aims to provide active, targeted support to researchers who are expected to become future research leaders at Umeå University. The overall aim of the programme is to support the development of your skills and expertise as a research leader.
Applicants to ReaL Step 1 should have:
Apply through the university’s recruitment system, Varbi, no later than 13 November 2026.
Your application must be approved by your Head of Department, and you are expected to attend all programme sessions. The final selection of participants is made by the faculty management in consultation with the Heads of Department.
