Making a virtual twin of Volvo's cab factory

NEWS The cab factory in Umeå will soon have a virtual twin: a digital replica of a process line. With this, changes, and new products can be tested without disrupting the production.

The spin-off company Algoryx Simulation is a partner in the collaboration involving Volvo Trucks, Schneider Electric and Chalmers. The initiative is part of the EU project Engineering Tool Chain for Efficient and Iterative Development of Smart Factories (Entoc).
