New agreement with Elsevier

NEWS A new agreement has been reached with the scientific publisher Elsevier. The agreement covers university wide reading rights to about 2000 scientific journals from Elsevier. In addition, research articles submitted after January 1, 2020, can be published immediately open (open access).

The new agreement:

  • From January 2020: Unlimited open accessible publication in Science Direct Freedom Collection (including journals from learned societies), Cell Press and all open journals
  • From January 1: Open available publication of 100 articles in Cell Press hybrid journals, which covers the entire consortium's publication in these journals
  • From January 1: Publishing with CC-BY license (or other open license according to the author's wishes)
  • From November 28: Reading rights to Science Direct Freedom Collections, around 2000 journals from 1995, and optional Cell Press (14 journals)
  • N.B: The Hybrid Journals in The Lancet Journal Family, The Lancet, Lancet Infectious Diseases, Lancet Neurology and Lancet Oncology, are not included in the agreement with free APCs
