Ralf Müller promoted to professor at Umeå School of Business

May 17, Ralf Müller was promoted to full professor in BusinessAdministration at Umeå School of Business. He is also ManagingDirector of PM Concepts AB, a management consultancy firm focused onadvising corporations and governments on management, leadership andproject governance. His clients are found in more than 40 countries.
Ralf Müller’s research is focused on project-based organizations, leadership in projects and governance of projects. Recent publications by Professor Müller include:

Professor Müller is also the author of the book Project Governance, published in 2009 as part of the Gower Fundamentals of Project Management Series.
At Umeå School of Business, Professor Müller has developed and taught the Project Management course in the Master’s Program in Management from its start in 2003 to date. He has also taught on the Master’s Program in Strategic Project Management and has held several courses in methodology. Professor Müller is also an appreciated thesis supervisor.
Professor Müller is a member of the Editorial Review Board of several international academic journals. In recent tears he received a number internationally recognized awards, including the 2011 and 2009 Emerald Publishing’s Best Reviewer Award, 2010 Emerald Outstanding Paper Award, 2010 Highly Commended Award Winner of the Emerald Literati Network Awards for Excellence, the 2009 Project Management Journal Best Paper of the Year Award.
He is also a co-founder of the Project Management Institute’s (PMI) Frankfurt and Munich Chapters. Ralf Müller gained his Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) from Henley Management College/Brunel University, UK.
