Renewed Erasmus Mundus Status for another 5 years

NEWS The Master’s Program in Strategic Project Management (MSPME) which is a joint program between Umeå School of Business, Umeå University , Herriot-Watt in Edinburgh and Politecnico di Milano has secured it’s Erasmus Mundus Status for a new five-year period starting autumn 2012. Erasmus Mundus programs are linked to scholarships / fellowships open to higher education students and academics from all over the world.

The application submitted this spring was one out of 30 to receive funding, with a total of 177 applications in the same category. Among other things, the evaluators state that the relationships with bodies in the field and the offering of Practical Project Management training through the IPMA Young Crew and APM Inspire networking is an added value which is offered to students.

The Master’s program is a unique 16-month postgraduate course which draws on a distinct pool of project management expertise across 3 leading European universities in order to provide a world class and cutting edge program designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills they need to become effective project managers and ability to strategically manage project based organizations and firms across all sectors of the global economy.
