NEWS Umeå IK women's football association has an established collaboration with Umeå Sport Sciences Centre at Umeå University. Thanks to this collaboration, students have the exclusive chance to see some of the world's best female football players on 7 May, including Marta, who is undeniably the best of all time.

Umeå IK has a strong collaboration with Umeå Sport Sciences Centre as more than half of the team's current 21 players have studied at Umeå University. Umeå University has become the first university in the country to adopt a university-wide policy for the combination of elite sport and study. According to this policy, our elite athletes and students - regardless of study options and no matter the sport - can have their studies adapted to their athletic responsibilities.
