Thomas Mejtoft presented the paper regarding international collaboration on the CDIO Conference 2020, which was arranged online for the first time. CDIO is an organization working with supporting the education of engineers.
The paper address the need and learnings from an inter-disciplinary international teaching project involving our students at the five-year integrated MSc program in Interaction Technology and Design.
The motivation behind the project is that international experience is increasing in importance among both engineers as well as most other groups of students. This project had become even more important today with the global lockdown and it illustrates how we can give our students international experience without having to travel abroad.
The paper is written in collaboration with Stefan Berglund, TFE, Helen Cripps, Edith Cowan University, and Chris Blöcker, Department of Physics, Umeå University.
