For the second year in a row one of our students was awarded the Swedish Trade Federation Chairman Price. Mia Lindberg from the Retail and Supply Chain Program received the price in competition with other nominees from retail-oriented programs throughout Sweden. The prize consisted of a grant worth SEK 50 000.
Nice to see that our students, and thus USBE, stand well in national competition. Mia did her internship and thesis at GANT in Buying & Merchandising, which led on to a job at the same company .
An extra bonus is that Mia also sees a future with a focus on sustainability and CSR, something we have highlighted in our mission and put more emphasis in courses.
