Swedish Tumor Microenvironment Meeting in Umeå 2019

The interactions between tumor cells and their microenvironment contribute to tumor growth and the development of metastasis. A meeting April 9-11 at Umeå Folkets Hus will focus on recent findings in tumor microenvironment research.
Many aspects of the microenvironment will be discussed, including cancer-associated fibroblasts, the extracellular matrix, nerves, the immune compartment, and vasculature, with internationally recognized experts in their respective field invited to give plenary talks.
The meeting is arranged by The Swedish Tumor Microenvironment Program (STorM) and the Wallenberg Centre for Molecular Medicine (WCMM) at Umeå University.
