The research group collaborates in at least four different ways that creates high societal relevance and usefulness of our research.
We teach and supervise foremost students in political science, but also in other disciplines and educational programmes within environmental, climate and natural resource politics and administration.
We collaborate with other researchers in Umeå as well as with other Swedish and international research institutes - often in inter- and transdisciplinary research projects and publications.
We are appointed as experts in research councils and by public agencies and carry out commissioned research and evaluations.
We are also members of various public boards and decision-making bodies, where we contribute scientifically based knowledge within our research areas.
