My research focus on characterization of different sludges regarding organic and inorganic components within seasonal variation and investigation of how hydrothermal carbonization (HTC) can upgrade its composition in regards of the possible applications where the end product of HTC can be used for.
An investigation of the potential for sludge combustion and HTC treated sludge will also be included where the principal aim is the recycling of phosphorus or other elements from the HTC treated sludge as well as ashes from combustion of sludge.
