My research deals with Swedish teachers’ views on the relation between ethics and aesthetics when it comes to text-based works of fiction.
To conduct my study, I am using examples of transgressive fiction since I am interested in how Swedish teachers handle ”morally problematic” texts in upper secondary education.
My idea is to problematize the conception of what is "morally problematic" when it comes to fiction and to explore how this conception can be understood in relation to the value foundation of the school.
