Welcome to the Department of Culture and Media Studies! Here, among other, the museologist research cultural heritage while journalist researchers study the medial flow in modern media. Research is conducted and courses are offered in eight subjects: Art History, Cultural Analysis, Cultural Entrepreneurship, Ethnology, Literary Studies and Creative Writing, Media and Communication Studies, Journalism, and Museology.
Most of our courses are taught primarily in Swedish, but we also offer courses entirely in English. Our teachers and researchers cooperate across disciplines and with external partners, making the department a creative environment and stimulating meeting point.
