ERC Advanced Grant

The ERC Advanced Grant is one of the most prestigious research funding schemes within the EU and is awarded by the European Research Council (ERC) under the Horizon Europe framework programme. Its aim is to enable established research leaders to carry out groundbreaking, high‑risk/high‑gain research with the potential to significantly advance the frontiers of knowledge. The ERC operates according to a so‑called bottom‑up principle, meaning that researchers themselves define the research question without thematic or political constraints. The decisive selection criterion is scientific excellence –  both of the researcher (PI) and the project idea.

Application

Last day to apply is announced to 27 August. Please note! Check the dates once the call has opened.
