Abrak Saati is a senior researcher at the Department of Political Science. In 2016 she was granted an international post-doc from the Swedish Research Council for the project "How can constitution-building processes in post-conflict states and in states in transition from authoritarian rule contribute to enhancing democracy?" The project was initiated on January 1st 2017 and will be ongoing until December 31st 2019. This project is partly conducted at the department, but mostly at the British Institute of International and Comparative Law in London and at the American Bar Foundation in Chicago. Saati also participates in the Varieties of Peace research program in which she leads a project which is concerned with the role of religious actors in peacebuilding.
