I am part of a research group that investigates audit team behaviour that is related to errors and audit scandals. I am also part of a research group about education for sustainability. Together, my work is integrated into the courses that I teach in accounting through the sustainbility perspective.
I have worked with different theories and methodological perspectives, including egalitarianism, behavioural, learning and affective theories. I have conducted discourse analysis, interviews and surveys to apply to the research and I am open to using any method that can help answer the research question. Right now I am conducting an action research project that combines sevral different methods of practical research activites.
I am especially interested in how and what we teach for and about sustainbility. I have been involved with a project research group supported by PUNKTUM to develop a digital tool that can help support teachers develop skills for sustainability. The tool helps assess each student groups' key sustainability competencies that can be used to prepare lessons. From support with UFS we have also worked with organisations in the region to apply this support for life-long learning for sustainbility of the community.
