I study how to use formal languages (e.g. programming languages) to model natural language. In particular, I am interested in graph grammars and tree automata.

During my PhD studies, I participated in the development of rule-based formalisms with the goal of representing natural language semantics, and in addition, algorithms that process similar formalisms.
