I am a PhD student in the lab of André Mateus, where I study drug resistance in human gut microbes.
I did my MSc in Molecular Medicine at the University of Tübingen in Germany. During my master's thesis, I worked in the lab of Professor Lisa Maier on understanding the influences of human-targeted drugs on the gut microbiome.
Since December 2025, I work as a PhD student in the Andre Mateus lab and continue investigating the human gut microbiome. My project is inserted in the ENDAMR doctoral network and focuses on characterizing mechanisms of drug resistance in species of the human gut microbiome.
