PhD student in occupational therapy at the Department of Community medicine and rehabilitation.
The research project Towards Equity in Health aims to address health inequalities by exploring how health and wellbeing are shaped in people's veryday lives, in relation to social and structural conditions. The project has a particular focus on the relationships between health, places and social participation, and is grounded in co-creative processes with people living in socioeconomically disadvantaged areas.
The project is informed by an intersectional and decolonial perspective, with attention to how gender, migration, and socioeconomic conditions intersect, as well as how place, access to activities, and structural conditions shape people's experiences of health and wellbeing in everyday life.
Previous experience includes working as an occupational therapist in mental health, as well as a project manager in social innovation in France, and within social psychiatry and LSS in Sweden.
