I am currently studying viral replication organelles using cryo-electron tomography to develop drugs targeting alphavirus replication in the Lars-Anders Carlson Lab.

I hold a B.Sc. in Microbiology, an M.Sc. in Biotechnology, and an Advanced Diploma in Bioinformatics from Indian universities. I began my research career as a junior research fellow at the Indian Institute of Science.

During my Ph.D. at the Leibniz Institute of Plant Biochemistry (Germany), I investigated the structure-function relationship of the Aux/IAA transcriptional repressor’s dimerization domain. I then worked as a Research Associate at The Herbert Wertheim UF Scripps Institute (USA), focusing on cancer-related proteins. After that, I was an Associate Scientist at the Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry of the CAS (Czechia), where I contributed to structural studies of viral proteins, including SARS-CoV-2, and DNA repair proteins.
