The main field of my research is computational electromagnetics. In particular, I am interested in combining numerical solutions of Maxwell's equations and optimization techniques to design electromagnetic devices, such as antennas and RF components. I am also interested in applying fundamental concepts of electromagnetics in medical applications, sensing and imaging, and inverse problems. Currently, I am working with systems operating in microwave and millimeter-wave frequencies. My goal is to investigate systems operating in terahertz and optical frequency regimes.
