Presently I am engaged in teaching anatomy to medical, dental, dental technician, and nursing students and my newly established state-of-art Lab looks at effects of vibrations on muscle and nerve cells

I am also overseeing operations at an advanced anatomy competence center within Norrlands University Hospital. Our facility integrates digital planning through SECTRA for intricate surgical procedures. As the focal point for basic anatomy dissections for medical and dental students, the center also serves as a nexus for specialized courses and workshops catered to surgeons and resident specialists.

Our research primarily focuses on the effects of vibrations. In our laboratory, we explore both the beneficial and harmful effects of vibrations on cells. Vibrations have been studied for their negative and positive impacts on the human body. In the therapeutic field, whole-body vibration and focal vibration applied to specific muscles or muscle groups can enhance contraction force and cell proliferation. Conversely, occupational vibration can lead to significant injuries, resulting in Hand-arm Vibration Syndrome (HAVS), a severe and chronic condition affecting the fingers, hands, and arms of individuals working with vibrating tools or machines.

Educationally, I earned a Bachelor's degree in Dentistry spanning five years, with a subsequent three-year specialization in Prosthodontics. In 2018, I successfully defended my Ph.D. from the Department of Anatomy, Integrative Medical Biology, Faculty of Medicine, Umeå University
