Doctoral student at the Department of Informatics. My research areas are Digital Innovation and Digital Service Innovation in the public sector in collaboration with Umea Municipality.
The research carried out within the doctoral project aims to generate new knowledge about how organizations in the public sector can use digitalization, digital technology, and digital innovation to provide value-creating services. Value creation here refers to striving towards the needs of the organization and the satisfaction of the citizens, where sustainable development pervades the overall goals of both actors with the development and use of services.
The specific goals for the doctoral research are:
• Identify opportunities for and challenges with digital service innovation in the public sector, specifically in Swedish municipalities.
• Synthesize existing knowledge about how actors in the public sector can develop a systematic ability for digital service innovation for sustainable development.
• Actively improve the conditions for systematic digital service innovation for sustainable development within Swedish municipalities.
