I am a doctoral candidate in the history of ideas and affiliated with the Umeå Centre for Gender Studies, where I am also part of an interdisciplinary research school. My project examines the development of women’s and gender history as a field during the period 1980–2020. I examine how this field of research has been shaped, institutionalized, and transformed over time, with a particular focus on key concepts, theories, and knowledge practices. By analyzing developments within women’s and gender historical research, I aim to contribute to a deeper understanding of the conditions for feminist knowledge production and the tensions between history and feminism.
