As deputy head of the department but also in my role as chair of the Program Council for the Master Programs in Public Health (PRPH), I have a special responsibility for the education at EpiGH. The research is mainly in health economics and health related preventive actions. Part of my work is at the Department of Nursing
My teaching at the public health science programs is mainly in the areas of health economics and health systems. Further teaching within qualitative method and then mainly computer support within qualitative method. Responsible for Open Code. Responsible for a doctoral student project with 10 doctoral students from low and middleincome countries
Healthy aging and the promotion of healthy lifestyles can summarize the research projects that I am currently working in (described below under "Research projects"). In addition to this, I participate in several more method-oriented projects in health economics. Validating the instrument EQ 5D 5L in Sweden and in Vietnam are two important projects. Other projects are health projects that evaluate new treatment methods in prostate cancer treatment or alternative nursing methods for severe heart disease or severe pain.
I am chairing the programme council for master educations in public health (PRPH), responsible for master’s in public health and a magister in Working Life and health (ALOHA). Teaching within health economics and qualitative methods. Accountable for an advanced specialisation for nurses in elderly care.
